THL was asked end 2018 to assist SGRE with an emergency replacement of 42 blades on PE San Pedro II. The project is located on the beautiful island of Chiloe, a little of north of Patagonia. THL mobilized two new blade lifters (400 & 500 tonometer models) and SPMT’s in order to move the 42 new blades to site over a 20 km road with steep curves and inclinations of up to 20%. Some components were flown in by airplane in order to make sure the project started on time.
